At the "Andes", we have the main vineyards of Cabernet Sauvignon and special importance is the 30 ha Old vineyard, within which we have 10 hectares of Cabernet sauvignon vines planted in 1910.
This vineyard is certainly the largest area of old vines in Chile and produce outstanding quality grapes, thanks to the balance of the vine, low- management intervention and the cold breeze influence coming down at night from Los Andes Mountains. Resulting in a very fresh wines, good color and wide range of interesting flavors.
In the Central area of the Valley, also called "Between mountains", is planted the Carmenère, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Malbec vineyards. This is the warmest area of the valley where these varieties are best expressed.
Finally, in the coastal area, near Paredones village, we planted a vineyard of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. Here the influence of the cold Humboldt current, provides a cold climate and very distinctive characteristics in wines with great layers of aromas, flavors and minerality.
